Tips on Windows® XP Control Panel
There are number of tricks that can give a new look to Windows® XP. It provides an ease of access to the user, as instead of going into the control panel it provides the access of function on the desktop. To make this icon first of all right click on ‘Start’ menu and then click on ‘Properties’. After this just Click on the ‘Customizer’ button that is present next to the ‘Start’ menu. After it select the ‘Advanced’ tab and click on ‘Display as menu’ under the ‘Start’ menu item. To finish the process click on the ‘checkbox’ under the ‘start menu’ as ‘Control Panel’ and click on ‘OK’ to finally finish it.
This feature is really very helpful for the user and provides a quick access to uninstall or remove a specific program or software from the Window®. To access this feature first of all click on ‘Start’ and then click on the ‘Control Panel’, after it double click on ‘Add or Remove’ program. A list will appear, click on the checkbox of the program which the user wants to remove from the list. After this click on change/change or remove option. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen for the user. In this way the program would be removed from the system. This feature cannot be used to modify various programs.
It is fairly easy to create a user account on Windows® XP. But a number of user accounts cannot be created for the user who is the member of a domain. First of all click on create a ‘New account’ in the pick a ‘Task’ menu. Then type the name of the user for whom the account has been made. After that just select the account type that is need to be created. After it click on create account.
