Windows® XP Blue Screen of Death fix
How to fix and prevent the Blue Screen of Death error code?
Blue screen of death is a well known name between all of the technical peoples. This error occurs whenever a software or hardware prevents the Operating system from running properly. This is also known as stop error. When this occurs, the system screen turns to blue and filled with some white error codes. The white text messages are known as error codes. These error codes might be different in different situations. “Stop 0xA” is such an error code which occurs when a driver or kernel mode program trying to access some of the memory location to which it did not have any permission. This is also due to some of the wrong softwares or hardwares. If Windows® XP detects any of the faulty instructions or processes, the “Stop 0x1E” error occurs. The “Stop 0x24” error indicates the problems in the driver files. “Stop 0x23” is a similar error that occurs due to the corruption in the file allocation tables. Errors due to the incompatibility drivers have the error codes “Stop 0x2E”. Defective memory also produces these types of error codes. “Stop 0x3F” is the next type of error codes which is due to the backup programs. If any of the backup programs trying to access more memory than the allocated amount, then Windows® will display this type of error codes with the blue screen. Windows® might display an exception error code if any of the memory address given by the user is wrong. Disk failure, disk infection is also causes of blue screen errors and the error codes that indicate this type of problems is the “Stop 0x77”. Following are some important ways to solve the blue screen error codes:
- Replace incompatible driver
- Free up memory space
- Remove faulty hardware
- Systems restore
Replace incompatible driver
Most of the error codes are due to the faulty drivers or incompatible drivers. If the stop message displays any of the driver names, then roll back that driver or replace the faulty driver with a new one. Up-gradation of drivers also could solve the problem.
Free up memory space
Some of the blue screen errors are due to the insufficient memory space. If you have installed any of the high capacity application that needs more memory, stop error might occur. By upgrading the memory, this problem could be solved.
If you find that the newly installed hardware is the reason of error codes, shut down the system and remove that hardware. If the hardware is not installed properly, then also this problem occurs. So analyze the reason properly and then solve it correctly.
System restore is a temporary solution to fix the blue screen error. Through system restore, you could bring the system back to any of the good state. This restores the computer the stage which you first bought it.
