Issues of Windows Vista Startup Repair
We can fix most of the issues related to Windows Vista booting problems using Windows Startup Tool. Sometimes, it may not work properly. This happens mainly in Windows 7 and Windows Vista. Most of the systems that use Windows Vista as operating system sometimes do not start properly because of the corrupted Master Boot Record(MBR). When you scan the system using Windows Startup Repair, it would not find any problem even if the MBR is corrupted.
Causes of the issues
The main cause of this is when you plug in a USB flash drive in your computer and then the system would recognize it as a system partition i.e. when you insert a USB flash drive, the hardware can only detect it as a system partition. When you scan the system using Startup tool, it cannot detect the partition on the hard disk. It would detect USB flash drive as partition and it cannot locate the corrupted MBR.
The main issues of the Startup Repair tool is that sometimes it cannot scan the problem even if there is some corrupted MBR. It is due to the insertion of USB flash drives in your system. So ,the Repair tool cannot locate the corrupted MBR files and it would detect USB drive as the system partition. This problem can be solved by removing USB flash drive while you scan the system using Windows Startup tool.
