From that, select the files you want and delete. Some of the files could not get deleted and this is because those files are currently in use. You could also access Disk Cleanup tool from Run by typing 'cleanmgr'. In the next window, select the drive from which you need to delete files. Then, you have to click 'OK'. Then, select temp files and delete them.
Using some software tools, you could be able to delete the temp files in Windows 7. One of such tool is 'Temp File Cleaner' and this is a multi-platform java application. It would remove temporary files very fast. Other tool used is 'Temp Cleaner'. This would show the preview of files before deletion. Unlike the Temp File Cleaner, it could delete only the temp files from temp folder which is present in the drive of Windows 7. You need to install these tools and delete temp files. You would install them from genuine websites only.
