Windows 7 is an Operating System designed for the use on home, office and business purposes. Using command prompt
You could use an application called 'bcdedit' which is the built-in application for editing Windows 7 boot menu. It is better to use the built-in applications for editing the boot menu rather using third party software. To show the current boot menu of Windows 7 system, type 'bcdedit' and press enter key. Then from the command prompt, you have to select and copy the identifier which you want to delete. You could use the command 'bcdedit /delete
To edit the boot menu, type 'msconfig' in the start menu and click the enter key. Then the System Configuration Utility would be opened. Select the tab ‘Boot’ from the opened window. Now you could delete the unwanted option from there. Don’t forget to tick the option mark ‘all changes permanent’. To save the changes to the boot menu, you should press the apply option and then restart the system.
