This method to turn off firewall is applicable to IT administrators on locally managed systems. In this method, administrative access is needed to UT-managed machines which are part of Windows 2000 Active Directory domain. For this, users are recommended to create a new Group Policy object and give relevant name to it. Then select the newly created Group Policy and select the 'Edit' option. Open the Windows Firewall folder after specific operations and select Standard Profile folder. After this, select 'Disable' option in Windows Firewall.
