Microsoft® Paint Application

The Microsoft Paint Application offers several features in favor of fancier graphics software. To open Microsoft Paint, click the ‘Start’ button followed by clicking on ‘All programs’. Click ‘Accessories’ and then select ‘Paint’. When you start Microsoft Paint, you can see a window that is mostly empty, with just little tools for drawing and painting. Microsoft Paint includes a handy collection of drawing tools in the toolbox.

Microsoft Paint is a program used to draw, color, and edit pictures. You could use Microsoft Paint like a digital sketchpad to make simple pictures and original projects or to add text and designs to other pictures, such as those taken with your digital camera. Microsoft Paint is built-in on all Windows based personal computers in the Accessories folder.

You could use the Microsoft Paint tools to create freehand drawings and add a range of shapes to your pictures. Users can also enlarge the screen view by using keyboard commands. For zoom-in hit the ‘Ctrl’ key along with the ‘Page down’ key. To zoom-back to the original size hit the ‘Ctrl’ key with the ‘Page up’ key. By default, the eraser changes any area you erase to white. However, you can change the eraser color as per your wish.
