Start the Microsoft Word 2007 in safe mode
You have to select Start and then All Programs. In that, you have to select Microsoft Office. You need to press and then hold the CTRL key and click Microsoft Word. If there is no issue at that, then the real problem might be some of the add-ins present in the Microsoft Word 2007. So, you need to disable that add-ins. This step has to be done with great care. First of all, you need to exit all the Microsoft Office programs. Then, click Start and then in Run, you have to type 'regedit' and click OK. You need to locate the registry sub keys for data and options. Then, click Data and after that, click at Export which is on File menu. You need to name the file as Wddata.reg and then try to save that to desktop. After that, click the Options and select Export. You have to name it as Wdoptn.reg and you need to save that to desktop. After that, you have to right-click the Data and Options and select Delete one by one. Then, exit the registry and start the Microsoft Word 2007 again. If the issue persists, you have to restore those keys.
