If the developer tab is not available then first we have to display it. To display the developer tab, click on ‘Microsoft Office’ button and choose ‘Microsoft Excel Options’. Then select the ‘Popular’ category and click on ‘Show Developer Tab in the Ribbon’ checkbox under ‘Top Options for Working with Excel’. And click ‘Ok’. Then to run macro, open the ‘Developer’ tab and select ‘Macro’ in the ‘Code Group’. In the macro name box click the macro that you want to run and click on ‘Run’.

To run macro, open Microsoft Excel and click on ‘Tools’ option. Then select ‘Macro’ and choose the ‘Code’ group and click on ‘Macros’. Then in the Macro name box, select the Macro that you want to assign the ctrl combination shortcuts. Then click on ‘Options’. Choose ‘Shortcut Key’ box and select any shortcut key that you want to use. Then type a description of the Macro under ‘Description’ box and click ‘Ok’ and then click on ‘Cancel’.
To run Macro from quick access toolbar, open the ‘Microsoft Office’ button and select ‘Excel Options’. Click on ‘Customize’ and select Macros‘from the ‘Choose Commands from’ list. Then you can select the macro that you created and click on ‘Add’. You can also change the button image by clicking on ‘Modify’. Then select the button image that you want to use from the field ‘Symbol’. We can also change the display name from the ‘Display’ name box. Then click on ‘Ok’ to add Macro button to Quick Access Toolbar. Now you can run Macro from the icon present in the quick access toolbar.
