How to embed a YouTube video in a PowerPoint 2013 presentation in Windows 7
Embedding a YouTube video in a PowerPoint 2013 is a great way to make your presentation way more entertaining as well as information. It is a great way to engage your viewers. Using a combination of PowerPoint’s tools and YouTube’s hyperlinks, you can embed YouTube clips into your PowerPoint presentation in Windows 7. Here’s how.
Step 1: Open the web browser on your computer and go to ‘www.youtube.com’.
Step 2: Find and move to the video you want to embed to the PowerPoint 2013 slide.
Step 3: Below the YouTube video, click on ‘Share’ and then select the ‘Embed’ button.
Step 4: Click ‘Use old embed code’ check box. From within the embed code copy just the value information from inside the quotation marks.
Step 5: Open the PowerPoint presentation.
Step 6: Click on the ‘Insert’ tab.
Step 7: Under ‘Media’ section, click on ‘Video’ and then click ‘Online Video’.
Step 8: Click ‘From a Video Embed Code’ option and then paste the ‘value information’ in the box next to it.
Step 9: Click on the ‘Insert’ button.
Step 10: Click on the ‘Play’ button in the ‘Preview’ section.
Step 11: You will see the video with playback options and a controller bar, the same as it is shown in the YouTube.
Step 12: Click the ‘Play’ button to start the video as you do in YouTube.
